[Yogyakarta and China, 21 January 2025] -
A significant milestone was reached today with the signing ceremony and inaugural ceremony of the Chinese Language-Skills Training for First Aid Nursing Technology Course. This collaborative effort between the Yogyakarta Ministry of Health Polytechnic (Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta), Heze Home Economics College China, and the International College of Chinese Medicine Malaysia (ICCCM Malaysia) aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing students about First Aid Nursing Technology delivered both in Chinese language and English.
The signing ceremony marked the official commencement of this unique program, which will provide students with valuable insights into Chinese language about healthcare systems also First Aid Nursing Technology Course. The inaugural ceremony celebrated the first cohort of students embarking on this enriching journey. The welcome speech already delivered by The Director of Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta in this occasion. This program represents a significant milestone in the academic and cultural exchange between our two esteemed institutions. It provides a unique platform for our students to enhance their foreign language proficiency, particularly in Mandarin Chinese, while simultaneously honing their critical skills in First Aid Nursing Technology.
The rapid advancements in healthcare demand a globally competent workforce. This program will equip our students with not only the technical expertise but also the intercultural understanding necessary to excel in the dynamic healthcare landscape.
This collaboration is expected to foster a deeper understanding of Chinese medicine among Indonesian healthcare professionals especially Nurse, leading to improved patient care and a stronger global healthcare network.
